This week’s SBT (SHOULD BE TOGETHER) is somehow different from the past SBT’s that I wrote.
It’s different on two main points:
1. Unlike my previous entries that involve HOLLYWOOD COUPLES, my entry this week involves a Philippine Celebrity.
2. I’m gonna be pairing that celebrity to a non-showbiz personality but nonetheless I think they are perfect together. 🙂
So, Are you guys ready to know who are this week’s SBT couple?
It is none other than:
XIAN LIM and my friend and fellow blogger, NAIZ. 🙂
For those of you who do not know XIAN LIM, He is this ridiculously HANDSOME Filipino-Chinese Actor here in the Philippines. He started out as a model then he did a few supporting roles until he got casted as the leading man in “MY BINONDO GIRL” , a local TV series that was broadcasted last 2011. From then on, Xian Lim, became a household name here in the Philippines. His popularity became viral. Every girl is going ga-ga over him. I mean, who wouldn’t, he’s tall, he has a great physique, not to mention his to die for looks that can definitely give you a heart attack.
In my opinion, He is the dreamiest guy in Philippine TV which brings me back to the point that he should be together with my friend, Naiz. Considering that XIan is already getting too much attention from the public, I think he ought to be with someone who’s not in the limelight. He deserves to be with someone who can be there for him without the drama and without worrying about what the people will think. He needs someone who can give him enough attention and someone who is willing to just be behind him every step of the way, that’s why he should date a non-showbiz girl.
And out of every non-showbiz girls out there, I think he should date, Naiz, because she is fun-loving yet sincere. She knows how to make guy laugh. She is true to herself and she does not pretend to be someone she’s not. Although she is not famous as the actresses being linked to him, I think she shines brightest than everybody else because she has this optimistic views about life and she never hesitates to share her smile.
No offense meant to Naiz’s bf or Xian’s gf (if he has one), but if ever you guys became single at the same time, You two should look each other up. I think you guys would make a very fine couple. 🙂 And if ever you guys end up together, remember that I am the first “xianaizter”. 🙂
I do not own the photos
I’ve been writing about a lot of stuff ever since I was a kid. But I never write anything about my Mom. Sure I write about my dreams, goals, sadness, frustrations, the father I never had, broken dreams, and a love that can never happen but haven’t written a single thing about my mom. So now I am writing one. So Every one, Let me tell you something about her.
My mom is by far the strongest person I know. Despite all the hardships and trials, she never gives up. Being widowed at 35 and left with a 3 y/o and 4 y/o daughters. I don’t know where she got the strength from and how she was able to surpassed all that but I’m glad that she did because If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be here writing about it. She gives and gives without expecting anything in return. She works hard to make ends meet. I know this sounds like a cliche but she really did try to be the father and mother to us. Juggling two jobs and still finding time to prepare a home-cooked meal. Most times I think she is making-up for the loss of my father that’s why she’s trying so hard to make us feel loved and wanted and ease the pain of not having a dad. Although sad to say that I still feel that I missed out a lot in life by not knowing what it’s like to have a dad. But just the efforts that she is doing, It really means a lot to me.
I know that If she could then she’ll take away all the pains and troubles that I have.
I know that If she could then she’ll reach all my dreams for me.
I remember how she gives up the things that she needs just to buy us things that we want so that we won’t be envious to other kids.
That’s how great of a mom she is.
And that’s an unimaginable love that only a mother can give. A love that’s so pure, undying, selfless and unconditional. A love that a child could never forget.
And most of the time I am so absorbed with my losses that I forget that every time I lose, she also loses. Like when I lost my dad, she lost a husband as well.
And when I lost my grand dad (Angkong), she lost a helping hand.
And when I lost my Grandma, she lost her mother.
I overlooked the fact that I am not the only person who gets lonely. She also gets lonely too.
But she handles such adversities with calmness and faith. She is truly a woman of beauty and grace. She doesn’t bow down to challenges, she faces them with confidence and courage.
And now that my sister and I are all grown-up and we somehow are able to lighten up her load. She still continues to work twice as hard for us and so that she can help out our other relatives in need.
She has such a big heart and such a great soul. And I love her because she never gives up on me and she always pushes me to be the best version of myself.
And If someday I turn out just at least half the person that she is, then I’m lucky, because I know I’ll also be a good wife and a great mother! Thank you, Mama! I love you.
Last April 15-21, I had the privileged to watch the Philippine Volcanoes fight their way to win the Asian 5 Nations 2012 Division 1 tournament. It was my first time to watch them play. I have been hearing about how good our rugby team is, but it wasn’t until November last year when a friend insisted that I should watch their videos online that I got drawn to it. I heard they’re good but I didn’t know that they’re great.
From winning A5N Division IV in 2008, Division III in 2009, Division II in 2010 and becoming Division I Champion this year. The future is absolutely looking bright for these men. Next year, they are set to fight in the Elite division which is the A5N Top 5.
Seriously! These guys are so blessed! Having pure strength and talent and smoking hot body and good looks combo, its just crazy! Although some are questioning their status as filipinos (coz most of the guys are based abroad and are of mixed race), I say, It does not even matter! Filipinos are Filipinos, it does not matter if we are of pure or mixed heritage. We all have one blood and we sprung from the one country. We should all support each other.
And Yes, I think I’m a fan of these boys. Who wouldn’t be? Watch them play and they will win you over in a second, or nanosecond!
And for those who are already a fan of the Volcanoes, Tell me who your favorite volcano is?
And I might just tell you mine!
